Mandee is the Owner and Creative Director of Stage Left Dance Co. Growing up in the Twin Cities, she started to dance recreationally at 3 yrs old. She transitioned to competitive dance at the age of 7 were she continued through high school and on to her collegiate dance team competing at the National level. At 19, she became an instructor at 5 Star Dance Studio and taught for over 10 years before taking over ownership in 2014. Since becoming the Director of SLDC, she has been the driving force behind the competition program and her choreography has received many high point awards at the Regional and National level.

Although you may find her working diligently with our competition dancers, she enjoys working with dancers of all ages and abilities. Connecting with the dancers on a personal level is something she aims to do. Seeing growth not only in technique but appreciation for the art of dance is truly rewarding for her.

Being part of this studio has given her some of the best memories of her life.  Her vision is to  cultivate an environment beyond dance instruction; a dance family. This is the experience she hopes to give all of her students!
