Stage Left Dance Co offers high quality dance instruction in a variety of styles for all ages (2 and up) and abilities along with an award winning competition program for the dedicated dancer who wants to excel beyond the recreational level. SLDC is proud to offer adaptive classes which are designed to foster a love of dance and creative expression for individuals with special needs. Anyone 2 years old and up can enroll.

This class is designed for 1 ½ to 2 year olds. It highlights improving on Large and Small Motor while focusing rhythm and movement skills set in a fun and interactive environment.
This program is a prelude to more formal dance instruction and introduce children to music and movement through a structured progression that stresses creativity and group interaction.
This class covers Jazz and tap with introduction to ballet.. This fun class is designed to introduce students to tap and jazz dance. Learning some basic tap and jazz skills will allow the students to experience each style of dance while improving their flexibility, sense of rhythm and overall coordination.This class performs 2 routines with 2 costumes in the annual recital.
Students will review and continue to learn all the basics along with the terminology and development of tap and jazz. Dancers practice a series of basic steps, adding more difficult combinations as they become more proficient. Combinations will consist of several basic steps connected with simple transitions.
Ballet technique focuses on correct placement, body alignment and awareness for classical ballet technique. This class performs one routine with one costume in the annual recital.
A beginner ballet class for those who want to learn the basics of classical ballet. This class is also excellent for those who need a refresher ballet course! An intermediate ballet class for those with prior experience in classical ballet in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere.The techniques found in classical ballet are a framework for many other styles of dance, including jazz and contemporary ballet.
A fusion of ballet and jazz dance techniques. Movements in lyrical dance are choreographed to show the meaning of the music and are characterized by their grace, emotion and fluidity. Students are asked to have some background in ballet and jazz. This class performs 1 routine with one costume in the annual recital.
Lyrical class is designed for intermediate to advanced students with previous training in ballet. Students will explore partnering and weight sharing exercises combined with basic techniques and skills from ballet, jazz and modern. It emphasizes interpretation of music lyrics while telling a story with movement that can be fluid or abstract. As students progress through each level curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate. Students must take this class in conjunction with ballet.
A fun and energetic class that introduces music and movement to boys. This Boy’s Classes incorporates creative dance concepts with an emphasis on proper alignment, coordination and athleticism. This class performs 2 routines with 2 costumes in the annual recital.
This class is for the intermediate adult dancer who has previous training in jazz and tap. Class will consist of warm-up and work on Jazz and Tap progressions/ combinations. Dancers in This class performs 2 routines with 2 costumes in the annual recital.
This is a fun, energetic class combining street dance, hip-hop and jazz. This style of dance can be seen in music videos by pop artists. This class performs one routine with one costume in the annual recital.
Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles primarily breaking, locking, and popping.
Enrollment by instructors approval. Dancer should have good technique and body placement to ensure movement is executed without injury.This class performs 1 routine with 1 costumes in the annual recital.
Acrobatics teaches flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline & concentration. Acro is not the typical tumbling or gymnastics class. This class is great for students looking to enhance their agility, flexibility, & strength.
